More unworthy Goldsworthy aping.

Nonetheless, this was an extremely difficult piece to put together. Unlike Him I don't have the resources to fly around to parts of the world in which the terrain supports his vision for the specific piece. Nor do I even have a car. Nor an expensive Nikon camera.

So I work with what I've got for now.

I went back to the place where I did the stone towers but most if not all of those stones had been moved or shattered, so my goal of doing a much bigger version of this piece had to be compromised. Also, we did it late at night so I had to raise the light and contrast beyond my usual taste. Oh well.

A 'rath' is a circle of stones considered to be a dwelling place of faeries, or an attraction to faeries.

I've used that technique, but sparingly. You'll probably only find it in one or two of my cataloged works.

Maybe I'll discover it later on more thoroughly, but right now it doesn't resonate with me. Maybe it's time to change...
